The Korb Sports Complex Grand Opening and dedication was held September 9th at 5:30pm at the site one mile west of 5 Corners. The long-awaited project fills a need in the community for youth athletic fields. The complex provides four full-size youth baseball/softball fields with fencing, score boards, dugouts, bleachers, and hitting tunnels. It also features a unique tee ball quad-plex thoughtfully designed to give the little ones a “big league” experience. On the east end of the site you will find a multi-use field large enough for two full-size soccer fields, or any number of sport field configurations. The complex is meant to be a true community sports venue for the Cedarburg area, being available for rentals in addition to serving as the home base for Town recreation programming.
“I want to thank all the donors and sponsors, notably Ken and Edith Korb, for their generous gifts to make this all possible. I also want to thank the numerous current and past members of the Town Board and Park and Recreation Committee for all of the hard work put in to make this project the success that it is,” said Town Chairman David Salvaggio.

· Orthopaedic Hospital of WI – $60,000 scoreboard donation
· Uihlein Family – $30,000 for Field Naming Rights
· Greater Cedarburg Foundation – $20,000 for bleachers

The Town of Cedarburg Recreation Department was founded in 2010 when it started Cedarburg Little League to better meet the needs of area youth in both the Town and City. The Town recreation programming is 100% self-supporting, meaning that it is not funded by property taxes. Sponsorships, fundraising, and user fees cover all program expenses, including Town staff time. Over 900 boys and girls participated in Town recreation programming in 2020, another record year!
