The 2024 road projects are about 75% complete as of July 5th. Work will continue into August.
The Town of Cedarburg 2024 Capital budget includes ~$1.68 million, or a baseline of 4.99 miles of road work. The roadways planned to be completed are based upon various considerations including but not limited to PASER rating, traffic count, number of homes on the roads, and other items. The projects include all or sections of the following:
- Stonefield, Cullen, Foxway, Glacier, Dawnview
- Cedar Valley, Bittersweet
- Sycamore
- Cedar Sauk west of CTY Y & Kings Court (along with Trenton)
- Maple Road between Cedar Creek Road and Pleasant Valley Road
- Foxcroft, Huntington
- Covered Bridge Road from Kaehlers Mill south 1000′
- Pleasant Valley Road (section of road west of Maple Road)
- Large culvert on Cedar Creek Road
- Design for the Cedar Creek Bridge project east of CTH I (2025/2026 construction)
- Additionally, 2024 will see increased levels of funding for crack filling (contracted at $45,000).
