The Town of Cedarburg recreation programming has won two awards since 2010; in 2010 the Town was selected as one of the winners of the Wisconsin Good Government Awards Program. As a winning entry in the category of town-led effort to reduce costs and improve services, the Town of Cedarburg's award includes a $1,000 Community Enhancement Grant funded by Foth Companies. Cedarburg Little League and Cedarburg Flag Football League were also awarded the Outstanding Program Award by WCMA in 2011.
"This is a great story of a public-private partnership that increased both youth participation and accessibility to the great American sport of baseball, while saving tax dollars, cutting user fees and reducing overhead," said Todd Berry, president of the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance and chairman of the independent judging committee.
