Background
The Town of Cedarburg Landmarks Commission is happy to announce the 2024-25 "Digital Time Capsule" Photo Project. "Best Memories of Life in the Town" celebrates the Town's historic 175 year anniversary in 2024-25.
"Best Memories of Life in the Town" is an opportunity for current and former Town residents to submit photos of life in the Town in 2024-25. The photos will be archived digitally for future generations to enjoy and will be stored permanently on the Town's website with your name and credit.
For more detail and how to submit a photo, please see below. The Town will accept photo submissions until October 18, 2025. We look forward to seeing all your photos!
Entry Guidelines/Disclaimers
Current or former Town residents may submit original photos.
There is no limit on the number of entries per person.
Photos must be taken in 2024 or 2025.
Collage photos are acceptable. If you are making a collage or photos of a "before and after," at least one must have been taken in 2024-25.
If you created something, or wrote , drew, painted, or sculpted or created other forms of art, take a photo of what you made.
If you do not have online access, you can bring your photo(s) to the Town Hall and fill out the paperwork and Town staff will help you.
The Town will add a small watermark to your photo.
Photos may also be used by the Town for publicity, marketing, promotion, and social media.
Submitting a Photo on Behalf of a Minor: Town staff will confirm consent with parent/guardian prior to posting the name and public listing preference for the submitted photo(s). Parents/Guardians: If the photo was taken by the minor, please fill out the form on behalf of the minor.
Note-Option: Submissions will have the photographer's name posted along with the photo. If you would prefer the Town post the photo without your name, you must reach out to Jack Johnston at jjohnston@townofcedarburgwi.gov or 262-377-4509 ext. 3 within five business days of submitting your photo.
